Our school participated last year. Do we need to re-register for this year?
Yes. Please go to the registration page of the website and re-register.
Can a child submit more that one Christmas card design?
Only one design can be submitted per child.
Is there a deadline date for the Co-ordinator to submit pupils' drawings?
A return date can be found on the instruction sheet which accompanies the Drawing Kit.
When and how do we pay you?
We send an invoice in the box with your final cards and request your payment within 14 days.
Who should parents make their cheques payable to?
Parents make their cheques payable to the school, NOT to Christmas Cards for Schools Ltd. The school collects individual parental payments and then they create one cheque payable to us.
What drawing materials can the children use to create their drawings?
Felt-tip pens, coloured pencils and/or ink only. Any combination of these can be used on the drawings.
Can groups other than schools participate?
Yes, but the format on the reverse of the card is still restricted to name, group and organisation. We have also made room for an additional 4th line of text of up to 50 characters which applies to the whole school or organisation.
How long does delivery of the cards and gift tags take?
The entire process from receipt of your Kit order to delivery is within 6 - 8 weeks.
How do the children's drawings get to Christmas Cards for Schools Ltd?
The Co-ordinator collects the drawings from the class teachers and posts by Special Delivery to Christmas Cards for Schools Ltd.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Yes. Each school must place a minimum order of 35 packs for cards. Each pack contains 12 cards with envelopes and parents can order multiple packs if they wish. There is no minimum order for sets of gift tags (16 gift tags per set).

Do you print on the inside of the cards or are they left blank?
The wording on the inside of the card reads "Season's Greetings". Alternatively, the cards may be left blank, but the entire school can choose only one of the two options.
The school has run out of the children's drawing templates. What do we do?
More templates can be downloaded from the Co-ordinator's section of the website.
My child was absent when the drawings were posted to Christmas Cards for Schools Ltd. Can we still submit a drawing?
Unfortunately, the system at that stage is closed to further processing.
My child's name is spelt incorrectly on their sample card, what can I do?
If necessary, the child's name can be corrected on the parental order form. The Co-ordinator will then make this amendment when placing your order online with Christmas Cards for Schools
Can the school order reprints?
Yes. These are printed in the first week of December. Re-orders that total less than 25 packs are priced at £6.00 per pack, 25 packs and over are £3.75 (including VAT and delivery to a UK mainland address).
Do you accept children's drawings that are not on your templates?
No. Drawings must be submitted on Christmas Cards for Schools’ templates only, for scanning and sizing purposes.
How much should the school charge the parents per pack of 12 cards and envelopes?
We recommend £5.00 per pack, but the school may decide to set its own fundraising targets. We recommend £1.50 per set of gift tags.
Can card designs be submitted by friends or relatives of the children attending the named school?
Yes, we do this but they must be supplied on our drawing templates.
Can schools submit drawings/artwork for cards for any occasion?
Yes, we have produced cards for occasions other than Christmas, but these cards must have blank inners. However, special runs, e.g. for parents' businesses can be considered, but must be discussed directly with Christmas Cards for Schools.
